Maulik Patel, an Indian pharmacist who relocated to Canada in 2012, overcame challenges to establish himself professionally. Like many immigrants, he aimed to validate his pharmacist license in Toronto by passing exams and gaining practical experience. In his first year, he worked as a pharmacist assistant while preparing for exams, leaving his wife in India. Despite the hardships, he succeeded in career validation, found a job, and moved to Belleville in 2014. Later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a pharmacy in Kingston, followed by another in the same year, showcasing promising results. Known for his business acumen and community support, Maulik plans to expand his professional and entrepreneurial ventures by opening another pharmacy outside Kingston in the near future.
