Martine Bresson migrated from France in 1975, drawn by Canada's simplicity. Without diplomas but armed with a good education and French fluency, she landed a secretary job at the House of Commons. Swiftly, she became an Editor and discovered her passion for photography while travelling across Canada. Determined to advance her career, she studied Political Science and History, taking on various pivotal roles such as Parliament Officer and Committee Clerk for Aboriginal Affairs and Finance and even coordinated French Parliamentary Conferences before retiring. Frequent visits to Kingston fostered a deep love for the city, and upon retiring, Martine made it her home, enjoying the camera-in-hand life. Martine's tale echoes a deep bond with Canada, declaring, "I feel very Canadian, and I will die here."
