Carrie Rodriguez, a vibrant Cuban from Palmira, grew up dreaming of a career in beauty. While working as an accountant, she found joy in hairstyling and fashion, inspired by foreign magazines. Working at a cigar factory, she met Steve, a Canadian tourist. They married in 2000, and Carrie moved to Belleville, Ontario, for a new start. In Canada, she pursued her passion, studying cosmetology and excelling as a hairstylist. Her talent took her to top salons, international beauty events, and specialized training. Life shifted in 2013 when Steve fell gravely ill. For years, Carrie balanced work, motherhood, and caregiving until his passing in 2023. Now in Kingston, Carrie finds joy in transforming her clients and bringing positive energy to their lives. She treasures her husband’s memory and honours his wish to keep smiling for their son, embodying the happiness she shares through her work.
